1 week agoMarwan al-Ali, Hasaka’s newly-appointed commander of internal security, on Saturday denied that Kobane is under siege, despite the ongoing electricity blackouts and the blocking of the entry of aidnn“The topic of Kobane is related to the topic of Qamishli and Hasaka. It is one topic… Security forces will enter Kobane soon, and there will be a withdrawal of forces similar to the one that happened here… [then] not only will aid be allowed in, but the situation will return to normal entirely,” he told reporters
The city of Qamishli witnessed a heavy security deployment by SDF forces around the Seven Seas Square. Security patrols were also conducted in the predominantly Arab neighborhoods of Tay and Zanoud, with checkpoints erected at the entrances and exits of these areas

2 week agoU.S. forces have begun withdrawing from Al-Shaddadi base in Syria's northeastern Hasakah province, heading toward Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan, an Iraqi security source told Qatari Al-Araby TV. Syrian media reports that the U.S. convoy also includes buses carrying ISIS prisoners transported from Syria to Iraq

A demonstration in the city of Al-Ya'rubiyah called for the dismantling of the SDF and the extension of the Syrian Arab Army's control over the entire Hasakah Governorate.
2 week agoHasakah - Qamishli: A delegation from the Syrian Interior Ministry, including the head of internal security in Hasakah Governorate, Brigadier General Marwan al-Ali, and the Interior Ministry spokesman, Nour al-Din Baba, departed from the city of al-Shaddadi towards the town of Tal Brak, and then entered the city of Qamishli from there.

Internal Security Commander Brigadier General Marwan al-Ali held a meeting with leaders of the SDF organization in the city of Hasakah to implement a settlement for the status of their members and a mechanism for dissolving the organization.
