Nearly a quarter of U.S. troops have withdrawn from Syria. About 500 U.S. troops have withdrawn from Syria in recent weeks, two U.S. officials tell Fox News. Three U.S. bases have been either turned over to the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) or closed down. This includes Mission Support Site Green Village which has been shut down, and Mission Support Site Euphrates which has been handed over to the SDF. U.S. troops have also vacated from a third much smaller outpost.
